How this apps works

Step 1
The input is either a single question or a file if you wish to test multiple questions (the file should be an excel sheet with two columns: one with a unique identifier, the second wit the corresponding question).

Step 2
The app will check each question for biases. We currently have models to check whether a question is leading, double-barreled, loaded, overgeneralized, ambiguous, nevatively framed or gendered

Step 3
For questions that are either leading or double-barreled, the app will flag the question and suggest a correction.
Why use this app?
To quickly identify and correct biases in the formulation of questions
Biases in survey questions often go unnoticed because the person creating the survey has looked at the question so many times that they may miss small nuances that might induce biased responses. This app can be used to quickly identify biased survey questions and get alternative formulations.
